Wear it loud! Wear it proud!
We will, once again, be joining thousands of schools across the UK who will be taking part in Hello Yellow for Mental Health Day with the intention of raising awareness and money to show children that there are not alone with their mental health.
At St Paul's, we will be marking Mental Health Day on Wednesday 8th October. Staff are planning activities and opportunities for the children to explore, understand and sustain positive mental health in classes. We are also very excited to be welcoming a group of musicians from the Birmingham Conservatoire back to St Paul's who will be performing for the children and helping them explore the impact that music can have on our mental health.
All children and staff are encouraged to wear yellow items / accessories for the day and make a suggested £1 donation which will be shared between Young Minds and the purchase of resources to support positive mental health in school. (If you do not already own something suitable, own clothes are fine. We do not want parents to feel there is a need to buy anything especially for events such as these.)
We stand brighter, together. YoungMinds | Mental Health Charity For Children And Young People | YoungMinds
